Just received season tickets assignment. We got screwed. Went from 104 row E, right behind 1st base. Now way out in left field, 116 row G. Called ticket and got the runaround. Anyone else get this treatment? I’m not happy at all.

Same, but it will only matter during the tournament.

I’ll sit in the student section every other game like I do each season.

Just curious... if you don't mind posting it, what is your Rams Club rank? There was a huge increase in season tickets sold last year, but the new orders were moved to the back of the line. This year, they received the same priority as everyone else who had season tickets last year. That could easily explain why your seats were moved.

I requested same season seats as last year. So if you’re in the Rams Club you get priority over last year ticket holders?

disappointed here, as well … increased my order from last year … seats are now split … retained my Sec. 110, but additional order was assigned in Sec. 116 😔

tickled to be in Bosh, just was hoping to have sears together … oh, well can hardly wait for first pitch

Anyone who was a season ticket holder last year, and is also in the Rams Club, will have priority over you, if you are not a Rams Club member.

I'll try to explain it to you with made up numbers, although they probably aren't too far off actual. Coming out of the 2024 season, we had 2000 season tickets sold. Demand for postseason tickets that year was so high that quite a few Rams Club members who were not season ticket holders got shut out, so they decided to buy season tickets for the 2025 season. Demand increased 40% over the previous year, so 2800 season tickets were sold for last year. Season ticket locations were assigned using the Rams Club points list for the first time, but only those who had season tickets in 2024 got priority, That would have included you, whether or not you were a Rams Club member, so you were only completing with 2000 season tickets. This year, you are competing with all 2800, Whatever percentage of those 2800 are Rams Club members, and and I'm guessing it is fairly high, all received location priority over you,

I thought they made it pretty clear that if you ordered additional season tickets, the new ones would go to the back of the priority line. You could have requested to have all four together, but most likely that would have resulted in all four being in 116.

I’m thinking about asking for a refund on my season tickets. I think I can walk up to the ticket office on game day and get better seats than section 116 Row G

I think there was a huge increase in demand. Baseball is the only major sport that has its act together.

I didn’t end up pulling the trigger which I regret. I’m in Charlotte and no way I could attend most of the games. Still thinking of joining that Diamond Heels club though

You can sit most anywhere you want for at least half of the regular season games, and probably as many as 2/3 of them, There are empty seats in every section. Giving up your season tickets will pretty much guarantee you have no chance to get postseason tickets through UNC, and will be stuck paying whatever the asking price is on Seat Geek.

I’m very pleased. I requested section 103 and got 103 row C seats 1-3. My kids will love being 3 rows from the field and the aisle is clutch. Rams Club rank is like 7,000 but I specifically requested section 103 above all else in the “Comments” box of the season ticket application form.

A friend and I were granted 4 seats together in 108. Last year he had 2 in 107, and I had 2 in 108. So we’re happy.

That'll be a mistake if they make the postseason.

I mean I'm a student, I mainly put in the request to have good seats for every game. I also don't think it's an if we make the postseason, maybe if we host a super regional.

If you’re under 55 and haven’t been giving to Rams Club for decades then don’t bother expecting great seats at anything for UNC until all the boomers move on. Boomers are retiring and attending more games than ever. And that’s nothing against boomers, they earned it, it’s just a demographic fact.

I used to get great women’s basketball seats in my 20s a decade ago and that basically changed over night, now I can’t even get in the first five rows of the upper level. I stopped buying them. Better to watch at home.

Just be glad to have access to baseball for now. I’m way down left field but I don’t care. Like last year I’ll have my postseason tickets. The best you can do is actually go to the game and try to find little hidden gems of seats that have a good angle, shade, etc. and request those seats specifically. Or come to the games and sweet talk some of the old folks sitting behind home plate.

Here is where I think UNC made a mistake by labeling Carmichael seats as upper and lower level. They are ALL lower level, because there is no upper deck. What's wrong with sitting on row T in Carmichael?

If the women don't win the vast majority of their remaining games, they won't host the first two rounds of the NCAA tourney, and if that happens, I'm guessing some "lower" level season tickets will open up, because much like with baseball, I'm convinced qualifying for postseason tickets is driving a lot of the increase in season ticket sales.

There’s nothing wrong with it per se, but why pay for a whole season ticket for a bad seat when you can show up with a GA ticket and sit wherever you want? I’m also 6’2, 240 so I preferred the large seats even if it was the top row of Carmichael.

I do wish there was some sort of Rams Club only face value ticket exchange for the lower demand games in a season ticket package. Where older donors could get some sort of reward (points, whatever) and could ensure the tickets are going to another, younger or lower level RC member. Based on the benevolence I’ve encountered on IC over the years I think a lot of the older donors would take that up if it was built in and convenient.

There is something similar to what you described:

Turn It Blue Point Reward System

  • 30+ Days prior to game = 5 points per $100*
  • 15-29 Days prior to game = 4 points per $100*
  • 5-14 Days prior to game = 3 points per $100*
  • 2-4 Days prior to game = 2 point per $100*
  • Less than 48 hours prior to game = 1 point per $100*

I've always wondered who ends up with those tickets. Using an extreme example, who would get my tickets to the men's hoops game vs dook, if hell froze over and I turned them in? I'm sure there is a waiting list. The question is do they prioritize requests from people who do not have season tickets, or do they go straight down the points list, meaning someone with 5000 points would get them?

Yea buts it’s only Football and Men’s Basketball; and it’s not really convenient. Listing the tickets in SeatGeek is easier than calling the Rams Club.

I was thinking something more like a Rams Club/UNC facilitated version of the IC ticket exchange.

Yea I’ve never heard of anyone getting tickets from it, though I’m sure it’s based on some fairness metric like RC ranking or to give to players family or something. Would stink if those tickets get flipped to a big donor who turns around and sells them.

It's for more sports than that. I just turned in my tickets for the women's hoops game vs Syracuse two days ago, and have turned in tickets for baseball on the rare occasion when we can't attend.

That’s great that they take them but the website literally says MBB and Football so I’m not sure whatever they do with your tickets is part of any formal program; nor would anybody know that requesting such tickets is an option.

Not season ticket related but didn't want to start a new thread. Is the ACC tournament worth going to? 15 games is a lot but tickets sold for $225 last year. I feel like that's one hell of a deal considering you're bound to get some good baseball
