Season Tickets?

When are they supposed to ship out? I would think that especially since they are going to the season ticket card option (which I did), this should be fairly simple. The season starts on 11/13, so we aren't too far away here. RU sure waits until the last minute with this stuff...

Has anyone received an email from the athletic department or UPS saying that their tickets or season ticket card has been shipped yet?

I got mine today. New "debit card" ticket came with lanyard for holding the card and a "R 250" magnet.

Ticket transfer now free for season ticket holders. It will be interesting to see how the new system is received.

I chose the card too and my tix are in route today according to an email I got this morning from RU.
Just got mine today, along with the lanyard and R 250 magnet as others have mentioned.

You would think that RU would have included a schedule with this shipment (which they didn't), particularly for those who went with the debit card option.

Ticket transfer is an online method of providing your season ticket(s) to another person. Currently I believe that there is a $5.00 fee. I am happy to hear that they will be waiving the fee. It makes me even happier that I chose the card option.

Just received the shipping confirmation in my e-mail today, so I guess they are on the way.

I was told there was no option. Everyone got the card. I was told they will probably do the same thing with FB next year as well.

i got mine today.....and even though I said tickets they gave me a card....TICKET OFFICE FAIL...Don't offer the option and then decide to screw people. Its not a big deal really but the fact that they did this does speak to poor customer service. If you cannot trust them on something like this, then its like you have to double check any type of transaction you make with them.

yes the lack of a schedule is another example of poor customer service...how on earth could they send a card out but no schedule. Now I know I know we all are on the internet blah blah blah but actually we have an OLD fanbase some of which really aren't up on logging on everyday. How much could it cost to print up a sheet with the schedule for reference

Thinking about it more since I posted it, it is baffling that there is no schedule included. It is different if you had every ticket and could see every game date there. However, with a just a bland card with your seat number listed, that is an epic fail.

While I think the season ticket card is a good idea, you need to let folks (especially our older fan base as Bac notes) when the games are. It also should be optional for anyone to get standard tickets as well. If someone without access to their online account wants to give their tickets to someone to use, what are they supposed to do?

Just opened mine as well. I liked having the hard tickets as a momento so am bummed. Who is the marketing genuis who did not include a schedule? Between this and awful Homecoming marketing... Not good.

I renewed by phone and said I wanted tickets and got the cards which is totally predictable. They absolutely don't give a flying expletive deleted about men's basketball season ticket holders. Just don't care, not a priority. This has been going on FOREVER. Do you really think they'd pull this stunt for football? I know it's whining but customer service matters and they never fail to show that they don't spend anytime thinking about basketball.

I'm pretty sure they don't really give a f*ck about any of us. I am sure football will be the same way next year.

Same here - requested tickets and got the cards and lanyard.
Did anyone actually get tickets instead of a card? Maybe they decided that everyone gets the cards
Oh BTW, some of us OLD guys (69) actually are familiar with the internet. I printed out the schedule the day it was announced.

the fact is that if they offered the ticket option and people were clicking it, they just don't go ahead and give anyone cards without telling.

last year they gave out free coupon for a Big 10 shirt to pick up that day but ooops the shirts didn't come in...and two games later they didn't even have any when I went to get mine.

Basketball is the last on any priority list at this school

UPS? For the number of season ticket holders, RU should save the postage and hand deliver them.

The tickets are mailed directly from the printer in Arkansas

I requested cards and got cards. So at least they got my selection right.

The ticket transfer is free so for those who wanted paper tickets, I suppose you could transfer the tickets for the particular game to yourself and print them out.

I wonder if I could just take a photograph of the card with my cell phone and let them scan that.

Great question. Why don't you call and ask. (Or maybe I'll just do that, and see if I can get in with my phone.)

I requested paper tickets and received them today. But they are generic white tickets, no booklet, and no parking passes.

Hmmmm that could work and actually be easy. Maybe not so bad but for an old timer who likes to save ticket stubs and/or like the Jimmy Fallon character in Fever Pitch....

I just spoke to the ticket office. Parking passes to be mailed separately but obviously prior to Friday's game, hopefully.

I received my tickets this morning. I had renewed by phone and was not asked about getting tickets or the card. I received actual tickets but would have been happy with either option. Next year if given a choice I'll choose the card option. BTW, I never received an email saying the tickets were on their way.

I asked for and got tickets.

They are not in a book, but are generic looking in a stack wrapped with a rubber band.

Same here. I would have chosen the tickets. I try to give tickets away to games I can't make. Question: if I still want to do that, is there a way I can print an e-ticket from my account and give it to someone? I know I am going to get a bunch of jokes about how no one wants the tickets, but there are some people at work who may like to bring their kids or grandkids for a free day or night out.
