I don’t know. Nebraska guy, who has always recruited Nebraska hard, and seems to be moving up the ranks fast. But I’m not sure he has ever been a Head Coach. It will be interesting to watch.
Most HC at the FSC that’s their first HC job . It was for Jimmy Rogers who just left. Dan has an interesting coaching trail he was at SDSU then to Northern Illinois than Vanderbilt. He has as let go for violating school policy ( don’t no the reason) went to Idaho amd worked with another SDSU guy as DC than followed him to New
Mexico. he must just want to be a HC right know because he would make more money as a DC at New Mexico than the HC at SDSU.
Turned down the Idaho HC job before taking that one, tooSpent one week the job he’s leaving
Former Omaha Burke assistant coach. Has recruited Omaha kids at every college stop. It's a good move for SDSU and Nebraska HS football players as the Jackrabbits will be recruiting the state harder than ever now.
You have to think he will be pouring over our walk-on roster and other teams like Iowa and MN.
Great question. He knows some of the kids, and more importantly knows people who know all of the kids. I wouldn't doubt if there are a few guys he will be on the alert for if they get into the portal.
