Scrimmage yesterday?

Was there supposed to be a major scrimmage yesterday to close camp? Anybody hearing any news of significance?

LM ran and threw for 6 tds. Had 3 sacks, 2 tackles for loss, a safety and kicked a 65 yarder that easily cleared the uprights.

Wandale got banged up. Not season ending but looks like maybe he's dead. Manning was kidnapped, boosters raising money for ransom but it may take 12 weeks or so. Freshmen are swimming in it, except the walk ons they're real lunch pail guys working hard and getting better everyday. Martinez girlfriend is back in the picture so he has missed some time for couples therapy but he should be OK with a few missed practices. Cam Jurgen is waiting on his DNA test and HCSF is sweating bullets.

Win or Lose I can't wait to watch Husker football

Purdue and Iowa both scrimmaged Saturday.

Michigan QB Joe Milton is "real deal" reports are mentioning. Jim Harbaugh went 8-1 in 2018.

Michigan at Minnesota should be interesting. Golden Gophers finally won a Big Ten opener last year.

Urban Meyer talks about limiting touches or contact of key players ahead of season. Rondale Moore was prime example. Meyer has been a good voice during this off season.

He was a real pessimistic on playing two seasons in 2021. He was a good voice during the darkness the Big Ten found themselves in, during August lockdown.

Purdue lost senior WR Jackson Anthrop to shoulder injury. After Thanksgiving was mentioned. Frankly, experience is what he best brought them.

Penn State has lost a skill player in WR room. Projected starter.

Mel Tucker opened 5-0 at Colorado two years ago. Week 2 at Michigan mirrors Week 2 at Nebraska, except for it is a conference game, but still a rivalry game.

Can he make any noise in 2020?

Both Nebraska and Rutgers are keeping it close to the vest.

With Ohio State and Michigan State, respectively on the road, good strategy for each team.

Mel Tucker was only at Colorado in 2019. He never played at Nebraska in 2018.

Thanks for the correction. I was wrong that Mel Tucker had two years head coaching experience.

Mike MacIntyre got the coaching win in Lincoln against Scott Frost in his first official game.
