We have always had short-sighted leadership almost across the board, not just in sports, but in the university side. It’s why we will never close the gap with most power 5 schools. Bad presidents, AD’s and administrators. Classic small-mindedness and when we have our own bright stars that might potentially lead us out of the doldrums, the scumbags stab us in the back after we elevate and cultivate their career.

Exactly. Damn Cohen could not even get rid of the bats. Hell, today was probably the first time they opened the gates since the LSU game. We get everything we deserve when it comes to our success and perception.

Let me just say, I don’t agree with “screw this university”, I just agree that it’s poorly run. I love it despite all its mismanagement

Why are any of y’all okay with this? Y’all are okay with Starkville looking like Tuscaloosa West for the last 12 years? But Cohen and his minions don't care long as the money is flowing in. Look at that place and tell me you are okay with what you see. So yes, screw that!

So it’s about Starkville? They have online civics courses. Can send a link if needed.

No, it’s about being the laughing stock and nobody cares. It’s about Cohen being so arrogant and eager to prove we could move on from Mullen that he went out and hired a cheap English teacher to pose as a football coach. And he’s been allowed to do it. WAKE UP!!!

Screw this University and it’s leadership. To hell with them.
L

Since you have chosen to disassociate yourself from our university and made it official here on the greatest sounding board ever, what lucky college will be so fortunate to now receive your full support?

It's apparently Sting Ray's account, so I guess Mizzouri.

I'm guessing you are between the ages of 18-25. I remember when I used to have passion about MSU Sports. I remember when I would get upset about the smallest of things. But I never said 17 my university.

I miss the good old days with Rocky Felker. Back when we ran the SEC and nobody dared laugh at us. Ahhh....nostalgia

Jeez. Come to Hattiesburg and watch C-USA football with 10,000 in the stands. Or be forced to watch a road game on Facebook Stadium. BTW, your team boat raced mine earlier in the season. Appreciate what you do have. I’d love for USM to have the problems you perceive State to have.

The Administration can suck eggs. However, the rank-and-file everyday MSU fan, alum, student, and employee are as fine a group of people you would ever want to meet.

First you must tell us you are a turd and are sorry for being a turd.

If it will make you feel better, sure. But it blows my mind that y’all can’t see the state that “leadership” has put State in. They are making it a national embarrassment. And for those of us who have multiple degrees from State should be royally pissed. Keenum, Cohen, and Moorhead are clowns.

I do not share the vitriol that the original poster does, but I will say this: our athletic department has never shown me that it is worthy/qualified to run a multi multi million dollar budget. So small time. Not serious at all about competing at the highest level. See Tutorgate and Bracky f'n Brett for the latest of a long line of examples.

We have had 1 athletic director in my 50 years that I thought was something special and he is now in Tuscaloosa.

I'm guessing he's a sidewalk fan who is now tired of taking **** from his family/friends/whatever. Perhaps he's never even been to Starkville.

Someone who's gone to school here or put family members through school here would never feel that way about it.

Bingo! You’re on to something.
every decent coach, administrator, assistant coach etc., that we’ve had in any sport in the last 50 years has been cherry picked from us by the Florida’s, Bamas ,etc of the world. Have we every hired a head coach in any sport(except maybe women’s) that was a respected head Coach at another major institution? We are ,at least at this point, a stepping stone school. And that’s an improvement from the sixties, seventies etc when we were a last resort school for has beens and outlaws(I love you Jackie and always will). Fond of Bob Tyler too.
All I know to do is keep going , quit bitching, and get off your asses and do something. For you that don’t already- donate to the cause.
