Coaching changes asap. Never seen a worse Husker Defensive team in my life. Chin is most of the reason our defense sucks. Wide open receivers all game long. No adjustments.

Put in some Diaco tape.

But, unfortunately this goes deeper than just talent. Chinander has a pretty horrible feel for calling plays and more often than not is getting bent over by the opposing OC.

I've been amazed the past few games how he gambles on his line calls and then the opposing team miraculously runs a play right at the vacated area. Either he's incredibly unlucky or they have a problem getting their calls in without being intercepted. Or they are just giving the opposing teams the play calls and betting on the game for their personal gain.

"The head coach is responsible for the defense and kicking game and the whole deal," Osborne said. "That's why you're the head coach. You're responsible for hiring those people, so I was not going to tell Bill Callahan who he had to keep and who he had to let go. Bill Callahan is where the buck stops."

"If it's two out of four, it's going to be pretty tough because now you're break-even, and we haven't had many break-even seasons around here," Osborne said he told Callahan. "And if we have a losing season, there isn't any way this will work."

It amazed me how many times #1 for Indiana was able to stroll in between zones and get all those uncontested catches that he did. Screw halftime adjustments... That's easily adjusted to on the fly! It was just awful to watch that same thing over and over.

I just listened to the post game presser. Frost totally put the loss on his players. If you ask me, he threw them under the bus (and maybe deservedly). I really want Scott to succeed and I thought when NU hired him, we FINALLY would see success again. Now I’m not so sure, I want to believe the guy but also think he’s a really good salesman. Like it or not, Scott’s here for a while. Maybe we will be better than ‘ok’ some day and maybe it is because some of his players are sissy’s as he alluded to. Chinander........still hasn’t figured it out.

That is a little extreme, unless you are only 10 years old. I witnessed a 2004 NU massacre at the hands of TTU in the flesh. Cosgrove also allowed 76 against a Kansas team in 2007. As bad as we think Chin is, Cosgrove easily takes the cake.

Trying to repeatedly cover WRs with our LBers is something even bad high school coaches don’t do.

Why can’t we face a defense as bad as ours or a D-cord that calls a game as bad as ours. It’s lonely at the bottom.

Man, us UCF fans told y’all about Chins.

Frost will get it together but he's got to man up and fire his friend. He was bad for us, is for you and will be for whatever FCS team he one day ends up at.

I agree... he finally took the gloves off in the post game. Truth hurts sometimes, but our team is mostly Riley guys and they aren’t very talented. You can’t make a **** sandwich taste good.

He took the gloves off and told a lot of dudes to man up. Meanwhile some dude caught fourteen catches today. Seemingly wide open every time. Pretty sure we could have had an all pro defense out there balling out every play, yet they always seem to be in the wrong place.

Bill Parcells once spoke to the great Alabama football team as a favor to Nick Saban. He told a story about being a young linebacker coach under Dean Pryor at Hastings College along with another young coach fresh out of the NFL Tom Osborne. Their best player was a linebacker under his tutelage. They were getting smoked on the same play his star linebacker was tasked to defend in the first game and Parcells was chewing him out on the sideline about how they practiced that exact play over and over that week. Coach Pryor pulled him aside and informed Parcells to quit blaming the player. He is our best player and he isn't making the play. It isn't his fault. Years later Parcells drafted Scott Frost as a safety and I believe now famously told him “If this doesn't work out, I'll be back coaching Hastings' defense and you'll be coaching the offense.”

It ain't the players fault. What is the problem? It is the junior college coaching a lot of them are receiving.

UCF almost lost to USF in 2017. Shitander tried to put a linebacker with 4.7 forty yard speed on one of their fastest WRs

Result. An 80 yard TD

you would think Chin would learn from his mistakes or SF would change this pathetic defense but no!

Well, I guess I can estimate your birth age at somewhere between 1993 to 1995. Too young to understand the record breaking futility of Cosgrove.

Scott Frost is a very good coach. He is smart, connects well with players and works his *** off. I saw him speak one time where he explained is philosophy in building a staff, in that speech he said that he valued intelligence over everything else. He didn't care if they knew his system, they would figure it out if they were smart.

In the end I think that is his one real flaw in coaching. He thinks he and his assistants are smarter than everyone else. That can lead to arrogance, a lack of flexibility and a failure to evolve. Along those lines, does he still have the QB in the shotgun in short yardage situations or has he adjusted and had them under center sometimes? If he has not made that adjustment, you all should take that as a serious red flag that he won't make the adjustment needed on his defensive coaching staff. If he has, there is hope.

Yeah, Scott has been doing a bunch of whining. A lot of smart people make poor leaders.
