I wonder why the VHSL decided to have the 2A state semi-finals on a Friday during the football playoffs?

I would have preferred it to be thursday (or sooner). with a saturday state championship, but I guess they can't please everybody. I know they have a tough job, but it'd be nice to be able to see both games (the football and the volleyball).

The majority of the football games are on Friday evening... I think there are only 3 or 4 football games scheduled for Saturday... makes it tough on the parents who have a kid on the football team and the volleyball team
