Kind of contradicts that he is keeping this team together despite the losses. If this is the same violation of rules that lead to Freeman being suspended then it appears Sanders did not fear the same consequences. Interesting that he got a defined two weeks whereas Freeman's was indefinite. Some will suggest a positive that EJ is instilling discipline but not a good development with your star player.

So 4 games, that leaves 2 vs. Mich. St. and Minnesota. I guess Sat. 3/5 will be our last shot at a win this season

Question for me is, does this look like Eddie has lost control of this program the same way Flood did? Not with criminal acts per se, but through how the suspension of players looks to the administration. I have no idea what to think anymore. All these things are dividing this fanbase even further. March and April are going to be very interesting.

One would think it has to be academic? Not a good sign for Corey coming back if he can't hanlde the academic load, which was why better schools backed away in his recruitment

I swear Rutgers is just cursed this year. First with football and our once proud stay out of trouble kids, Rutgers men, then basketball with the injuries to the frontline and now the suspensions.
This program really makes it so hard for us diehards to continue to root for them and even harder to defend this program to those outside the program as well as those on this board

My guess is our two best players just got suspended because their handlers want them out.

You don't see our bench players getting suspended

There certainly is a distinction to be made between injuries and suspensions. The latter goes to the type of kids you are bringing into your program. Hard to figure what Corey was thinking.

Fire Jordan. This breaks the camels back. Sanders is a bad apple too. All you fools believing he was backing up EJ. If he loved the coach so much he would not have gotten himself into this scenario. Sanders gone anyway after 2 years. If you watched his video he told his "mom" the plan was 2 years. His character is in serious judgement. With that girl and now this.

Seagears, Judge and others major chemistry problems in year 1.

Etou left home from a game last year to teach him a lesson.

Freeman and Sanders suspended. This is a trend.

Certainly hard to dismiss that this could be the case although easier for Corey than Freeman IMO.

Can someone check schedules to see if Rutgers-Newark is available to stand in for the Scarlet Knights the rest of the way? Or maybe choose a different punishment that takes less toll on the team and ticket buyers. Please have the Athletics Dept contact Syracuse or North Carolina for guidance on dealing with infractions.

HE HAS TO BE FIRED.....too much uncertainly with these players from next year. Perhaps the leniency showed from the get go. There is a reason why schools backed off on Corey, incredible talent but when you are allowed to run the asylum its not good...remember Corey and Freeman were suspended the first half of the first game too right

Ugggh. Sanders was really one of the only reasons to have any optimism with the program. Brutal.

Heal the program:

Unprecented losing.

Wife on realtity show.

Partial qualifiers

Transfers

Suspensions

Blaming fans

Dwindling fan base/apathy

Blowouts against rivals

Losses to NEC schools
