Crazy thought, but did you notice that there are a bunch of times Sanders drives to the basket and then takes a layup or floater off the backboard that is way way too high? But then have you noticed that almost every time it becomes a gift rebound for a teammate already camped under the basket? This was exactly the case for Gettys' game winner a couple games back.. Do you think that Sanders is doing this on purpose since we have great rebounders but not so great ball handlers that can take an inside pass?

I do not think it is the last part.

Right now, Sanders is struggling to find his offensive game. He knows he is a better athlete than pretty much anybody on the floor. He goes up, and either tries to get the foul, or puts up a shot.

I noticed this against Morgan State. A lot of wild drives.

He has been terrific offensively, and from a selfless player perspective.

Ball, young knight.

Sanders just needs to shoot from distance more and it will open up the space behind the first defender and the help defender/rim. When that first defender has to hustle to close Corey out l, at that point, it's game over for the defense. Good luck stopping that penetration with the added threat of three ball.
