Union VS East Bladen
Congrats to Union on their first playoff win since 2016! Was not expecting that last week but I know those kids were so happy and had some proud coaches. The road ends Friday though as East Bladen will rip through the spartans and bring out the running clock.
East Bladen 60-6
Hobbton VS Lakewood
Hobbton had a great regular season and lost a heart breaker to North Duplin for the conference championship. The wildcats have been rolling and lakewood has been doing the exact opposite. A 2nd round in county rivalry... doesn't get much better than that. Lakewood is just not putting it together this year and while I expect it to be competitive this time around I expect Hobbton to wear the Leopards down and move onto round 3.

Clinton VS TW Andrews
I don't know how to predict Clinton they are all over the place. Round one they went down to the wire vs Ledford which isn't a good sign in my opinion but then they play teams like east duplin down to the final whistle. This could be a clinton win or clinton disaster who knows. I see people saying they are the best 5-5 regular season team (Heck no) but I do expect them to show up Friday and give TW a fight. People are saying TW is overrated but I know one thing them boys are FAST. I think TW takes care of business and adds onto the drama Clinton will have this off season.

Midway VS Kinston
Congrats Midway you are the 3 seed! But you have to play Kinston! Kinston is a fast team that heavily relies on the passing game force feeding the ball to NC State commit Copper and Marshall commit Chambers. One of the better spread teams in this playoffs and many peoples favorites to make east regional. All I see is Kinston talk and no Midway talk. Midway is 8-2 for a reason and has had a dominate season. They are a well put together team and for some reason aren't even being given a chance vs Kinston. Plenty of bulletin material for the boys in Spiveys Corner. Buckle in... Friday night is going to be a good one. Gimme them Raiders.
