Was at a sports bar yesterday in SoCal. I sat for a while with a guy who was born in CA. His parents and grandparents were from Nebraska and he grew up with Nebraska football and is a big time fan. He imparted the love of NU football to his son, also born in California. The son's wife surprised the son with a trip for their first game and first time in Nebraska. She spent a fortune on good seats. As I sat there last night he was getting updates from his kid in the stadium. I was SO SORRY for the son, his wife and his father.

I'm sure there are lots of stories like that. I'm not blaming anybody, no one died or lost his house, but it is still sad.

I had the start of our season delayed for the second week in a row, talk about heart breaking. Thinking about starting a Go-fund-Me page for counseling.

But yes, there are tons of people who fit that profile you just described and it sucks, especially for people who can only afford to do that stuff once in a great while.
