Can the Wildcats pull off another win over the Yellow Jackets and get a 4th win for the first time in a long time? Is Lexington improved enough to hold off the Wildcats pound and ground attack? Can Lexington use their speed to circle the Cats and get the win? Probably the last winnable game for either team this season.

Gonna be a doozy.

Lexington's offense is worse at this point than last year but they've had their full schedule and it's full of stacked squads. They did score 13 on North Forsyth which is impressive because their defense isn't bad. However they've been shutout quite a bit. South meanwhile has had an easier time with it; they beat the teams they should have (granted it was too close vs N Stokes.)

Like last year it will come down to the lineplay. South honestly whipped Lexington all over the ball last year. Lexington's speed made it close like it was. South was too slow to handle their speed but they dominated the line to the point it didn't matter. It was honestly embarrassing seeing Lexington struggle on the line like they did. It'll come down to that again this year. Lexington's improved there; question is how much so?

My head says Lexington due to their speed and a better head coach, but South has something special going on and i want to see them get there. Tough choice. Just hope both make it out healthy and not beat up.

Lexington won 19-12 to snap the multi year losing streak!

Congrats to the Jackets; they are turning it around. People may laugh but this win was huge for them. South dominated them all over the field last year. This year it was the opposite; South almost did come back they made it close.

I feel for South here; this is a hard matchup to be for 1 way or another. Both had so much to gain. South has 3 W's though so they can't complain. Lexington needed this one badly for morale building and future building. Still a road to go but a W is the best medicine for this year.

I’m not sure I would say that South was “dominated” - outside of the long run from scrimmage, Lexington didn’t mount much offense. South moved the ball all night but made some critical mistakes in the red zone, including a fumble at the 8 going in that led to a 92 yard scoop and score.

This led to a frantic Q4 comeback attempt that had South chasing points and on-side kicking. It was a great game to see and both teams played clean and with a lot of heart. Congratulations to Lexington - I hope they can turn it around!

It was great watching South play - Tripp and the coaching staff have them believing and excited - which is what the South program needs!

South is improving and starting to beleive. They are getting ready to get smashed by Salisbury, Thomasville and East. Got a chance against West but until they beat WD I do not see them winning anymore this year. Lexington may not win another game either as they have some beatings coming also.
