Ryan russilo show was having a debate about best jobs in THE country. One person ranked nebraska 10. Very interesting debate they had. Anybody else see Or hear this?

whether Nebraska is a destination or a top job will be determined by who we hire as a coach ... this may be skewed a bit by the fact that Frost is an alum and therefore gives us the inside track

if Frost passes I'm a bit concerned about where this job actually ranks

remember we got Mike Riley the last go around ... I'm quite certain he wasn't among our first choices

when you think about things one could argue that the most qualified coaching hire since TO retired would be Tim Miles in BASKETBALL ... let that sink in

Along those lines. If we don't hire frost I don't think the new coach will ever get a fair shot cuz this fan base will be screaming if we don't hire him first

You might be giving Eichorst too much credit, I'm not sure he did much of a search. Just because we ended up with Riley, doesn't mean he was the best we could do. For instance, didn't it come out that Gundy wanted the job three years ago?

You beat SoFL Husker to it. Russilo needs a map, can't he see Nebraska isn't in the south?

Cannot listen to Ryen and haven't since SVP left radio and that show. Since he went to a non-factor in college ball, Vermont, he has become a homer for the SEC. I think it is hilarious he couldn't handle the combo of Jackson, Wyoming's high altitude and booze. What room was that?

It's Ryen and not Ryan. Rusillo must come from a family of bad spellers

Uh, I went and listened to this from today. They had someone on their show previously that thought Nebraska was a top job...Russillo and his co-host completely disagreed. They thought the top jobs that will be open this offseason are 1) Florida 2/3) A&M/UCLA 4) Tennessee 5) ole miss

Everyone can have their opinion but tell me when has A&M, UCLA or Ole Miss ever been on top of the college football world? A&M will always be second banana to the Longhorns, with or without a better record. UCLA doesn't even dominate Los Angeles. Ole Miss is in the middle of the pack in importance in the SEC. I can see why some coaches would want to go to Florida, but Knoxville is not exactly heaven. We just need to get a great coach and everything else will follow.

Eichorst most likely got his coaching recommendation from his Wisconsin ties (i.e., Riley's good friend Paul Chryst).

Nebraska was a Blaine Gabbert type qb from BCS bowls in 2009, and 2010...Cally brought in top talent...but our coaches since have been poor recruitors, and Bo was forced away from jucos because of low GR...this thing can be turned around real quick.
