Ron Harper Jr. is dressed and stretching at Mackey Arena with a little over an hour until tip. Have not gotten official confirmation, but he is expected to play against the Boilermakers. That's a big lift for the Scarlet Knights in a huge game. -- Fonseca

My grandson who is a senior at Purdue is at the game in the student section. He played against Paul M. A few times in high school. Go RU beat Purdue from my end. O yes his mother is a RU grad.

Harper has fingers on his left hand taped, but he warmed up, shooting threes, testing his left hand with some floaters and throwing down a dunk. Always thought Ron would play today, but am very happy to see his shooting looking good. Purdue shooting well, though and getting very open looks - our D isn't quite what it's been lately.

All there threes have been wide open and I think 3 out of 4 coming from edey screens.
