If they play this lackluster against Nebraska, they will lose.Originally posted by bac2therac:
74-65...looks like its over....when will this team learn it does not have to be this hard...for sone reason they refuse to deliver the knockout punch. They better not take 10 minutes off vs Nebby
Beknighted, it's not the margin of victory that I'm concerned with, but the fact that the talent level on Rutgers compared to PSU's young team is not even close. The ladies continue to make it hard on themselves when then don't have to. Not until we pressed in the 2nd half did we regain the lead (we never should have lost it in the first place) and got somewhat of our mojo back. My god, we went cold and missed something like 8 shots in a row before Stringer decided to turn up the heat. This team just seems to play down to their competition and that's a terrible trend.Originally posted by BeKnighted:
I'd have liked a bigger margin, obviously, but even in the best years CVS teams don't have a lot of UConn-esque blowouts.
More important: 7-3 in the B1G, and CVS is now tied with Rene Portland for most wins in Big Ten play.
Who's Fernandez?Originally posted by RU MAN:
This talented team is really difficult to watch sometimes as they play down to their competition. Stringer continues to make strange or no changes when it's so obvious. Why isn't Fernandez in there more getting touches? She needs to be the outside threat more especially when PSU went into a zone.
