I’m not good with the spreads but was a little surprised we were favorites. Huge opportunity tomorrow.
Always nervous regardless of the spread! Think we still can get it done. For some reason that makes me nervous
I think I would rather be the unde
It's a game at the RAC that we have to win. No way we weren't goingI think I would rather be the underdog
Great analysis. From a historical perspective …I think it’s the highest ranked team we have even been favorite against
1976 St. John’s was 16
1979 St. John’s was 19
2020 Penn state was 20
I don’t think we were favorite at home against Iowa or Illinois . And we were a slight underdog against 9th ranked Maryland in 2020
I don’t think we were the favorite in the final four game by the point spread …Michigan was 9
I'll still drink too much and be either euphoric or miserable afterwards. Spread does not matter to me! Lets get it done!I’m not good with the spreads but was a little surprised we were favorites. Huge opportunity tomorrow.
Crazy that we could be 2 point favorites against the 13th ranked school and possibly not in some bracketsRutgers basketball 2-point favorite over #13 in the country 4 days from March. This is a true statement

By the numbers, maybe you’re right. However in reality, it’s a fair lineRutgers shouldn't be favored in this game. I hope we win and cover, but let's be honest, a 22-5 Big Ten team should not be an underdog against an 11-loss opponent.
22-5 wow if we hand them their 6 th loss it’s hard to keep Rutgers out of the tournamentRutgers shouldn't be favored in this game. I hope we win and cover, but let's be honest, a 22-5 Big Ten team should not be an underdog against an 11-loss opponent.
I would've expected more like a pk but I 100% agree with your general statements. The W-L records don't really matter. Vegas relies heavily on analytics to set the opening line, and then the line moves based on where the money comes in. The analytics show Wisconsin to be more like a team in the middle of the B1G (t-rank has them 7th). The reason for that is because a one-point win and a one-point loss are almost exactly the same by pure stats, and Wisconsin is 13-1 in games decided by 6 points or less.
All that is to say that it's a fair line from my POV.
I see it differently. RU is extremely difficult to beat at home. Our home court record matches up with the best teams in the country. This month we have beaten MSU, OSU an IL.Rutgers shouldn't be favored in this game. I hope we win and cover, but let's be honest, a 22-5 Big Ten team should not be an underdog against an 11-loss opponent.
There's not that much difference between the top 8 or 9 teams in the B1G - any team can win especially at home. An away game or neutral court is a whole different matter.Rutgers shouldn't be favored in this game. I hope we win and cover, but let's be honest, a 22-5 Big Ten team should not be an underdog against an 11-loss opponent.
I agree about same team twice, but Rutgers needs this win more than Wisconsin does. Hard to picture Rutgers not bringing it todayMy biggest concern is that it's very difficult to beat a good team twice. With the Purdue loss today, I'm sure Wisconsin would love to win and take over sole possession of 1st place. Tough assignment.
They’re just trying to screw Stu….
Michigan was a 1-point favorite over RU in the 1976 Final Four.I don’t think we were the favorite in the final four game by the point spread …Michigan was 9
Yep, 100%. Visit their boards and they're all Rutgers fans tonightSIAP. Whisky now back in first place. I'd imagine a lot of Purdue, Illinois and Ohio State fans pulling for the scarlet knights at 6pm!!
The people who bet against Rutgers all won. It's about the money. No one is going to bet against Rutgers at home unless they are getting points
