Rush fans: Exciting news

I had heard of her before and was reminded by Wikipedia that she played with Jeff Beck's touring band a few years ago.

She's got very quick hands for a girl (I kid, I kid, but not really. They are quick for a girl and most guys). Nobody is Neil, but I'm sure she'll be great...

"Nilles was born into a family with multiple drummers and started drumming at age six. When interviewed by South African Drummer, she mentioned having two uncles, one cousin and a father who are drummers. Her father "taught me the first grooves as he realised I was interested in drumming."

If she was touring with Jeff Beck then she’s no slouch.

that was the Signals tour, not Exit Stage Left. And was in 1982. April 7, 1982. i was there, also

They didn't come to Mississippi on the Exit Stage Left tour. Closest they got was Birmingham and Atlanta. Here is a screenshot of the Signals tour dates in 1982

He was literally my first thought when I saw the original post and before I watched it. I'm not sure unless it's one of those speed metal bands who he could ever legitimately play for. He's so busy and psychotically fast, seems like he'd get bored quickly if he tried to play any normal grooves for a rock band.

Hmmm....
I was there, along with four of my drummer buds.
Got the Tshirt, it says Exit Stage Left on it.
Maybe I bought a tshirt from the previous tour?!?
So, weird...I swore this whole time I thought it was Exit Stage Left. That CD has all the songs that were played when I saw them then.
I blame old age for the memory screwup.
