I hope this game gives Maori some confidence. She’s looking much better today.
44-26 GREAT half by the ladies, just wonderful for everyone. Maori with her best stretch I think.
Need a game like this to quell my uneasy stomach after the last 2 games.

The team needs a game like this and so do its fans.
62-35 with around 5 to play is nice
41-29 rebound edge is also pretty good.
3s not so hot as pointed out.
RUTGERS 10 blocks! Leads to finally a made 3-pointer. Then another. 31 point lead. Illinois brings in a player whose name has 16 syllables

love, love love Danielle getting those points at the end, and her team mates cheering her on.
Better late then never, but rest assured win or lost I be on board defending or praising RU WBB as soon as I have time too.

Okay good win. An expected win. An expected blowout win. It's nice to see all the women get involved. Not just the great Arella with her 20 points, but Jordan with 14, Sanders with a dozen and Danielle with 8 points. It was also nice to see Davenport gets some minutes and score a half dozen points. But still, she only played 9 minutes. She needs more minutes than just nine. I understand it's the most she's scored in the B1G so far. Also nice to see Zippy, scored a half dozen as well.
Okay back on track. We now need to beat Minny and PSU before the big game against Maryland. Go RU!

I don’t get why she would only play 9 minutes against lousy competition.
How is she ever going to improve if she is not getting sufficient playing time?
But not an expected blowout win.
That does deserve some credit and not make it look like the credit given is being given through clenched teeth.
But since you are not the type to give praise freely (in any RU sport) I understand why your praise sometimes looks more like criticism than being overjoyed with a win.
You don't come on this board to troll, but like ever TKR board give your honest opinion concerning a win or loss by a RU Athletic Program and deserve to be respected for that (even if it pisses me off at times

So we beat them by 24 at their place but a blowout win at home was not expected? Some folks have low expectations.
Hoping for blowouts is one thing, but expecting them might be considered foolish.
Even if it's only my opinion, I won't count on blowout performances just because of the last time RU played someone it happened and that team gets whipped badly in most of it's bB1G games.
I expect wins, but never feel blowout wins will happen before the game starts.

Exactly. IMO, she should have gotten double those minutes. And guess what, Davenport would have probably scored 12-15 points in just 18 minutes. She can and will be a dominant player for us. I just wish C Viv. would allow her more minutes and show us what she can really do.
If you look at film of her in her senior year, she was incredible on both ends of the floor. How is anyone supposed to really learn unless they're out there playing against college players? The answer they're not.
And that’s the issue with CVS not developing freshman especially ones that are supposed 5 star recruits and lie it was stated this was a perfect game to get her more playing time
Maybe the other players on the team, juniors and seniors that have been working hard and putting in the effort all year and in previous years, deserve the time more.
