RU vs 8/7 Michigan game thread

I use Hulu and FS1 there lists another game at noon. Is our game really there? maybe this was something scheduled before and we replaced it?
Much better so far, better passing and movement. Also, Eatman is very animated, and into game, as is the bench.
Sakima must be hurt. She would be the appropriate move down there. Not Destiny or Awa
no free throws for RU? and down by 19.

is it all on not having talented players, or not having a HC that can utilize the talent on the team.
I won't claim this squad is a talented bunch, but think they have the type of talent a good HC could make a winning program out of .
Honestly, this year is just a waste of everyone's time. We lose 8 players end of year. Start all new next year from top to bottom, period.
Such a waste of good talent. A good offensive system that can put players in positions to score is what we lack. Have lacked historically during the CVS era. Our ladies coached the right way can play with this Mich team and every other team we've played this season. Would we win them all, probably not, but we would be MUCH better off than we are now. Seriously, probably three losses at this point, four at most.
Agree, new HC and staff , not return of CVS from her LOA, but hire new blood and move Stringer into administration , retiring from her coaching duties.
Sorry to disagree, but, we are not a good match for this team. Between Kim Barnes-Arrico being the great coach she is to their players being uber talented. Naz Hillman is one of the best players in the country, and is WNBA level talent. We will be lucky to win more than a couple of B1G games.
you're talking of a defensive oriented team that lacked the offense to be great.
Now the O is still a problem, but now the D isn't good enough to compete with the better programs.
Face it, this will be a lost year.
The problem this game has been that we cannot keep pace with a prolific offensive team. I think I heard them say we have one of the top defenses in the conference as far as point given up per game. Offense is our problem. Consistency. We have too many droughts that include bad turnovers where we don't get shots. They have struggled today to find their way offensively. It's desperation one on one by Shug and now putting it in Lasha hands to operate.
Coaching on the defensive side is not at it's best. We can't even run the 55 with all this depth to use for it.
I've been touting Chelsea for head coach for a long time. I sure hope it happens(HOBBS listen up). She has done real well @ Georgia, and they are ranked again now. She follows Rutgers actively.
Offense has always been the weak link under CVS. I’m not saying we didn’t have some teams that could score but defense was stressed at the expense of offense. When the women’s game changed and more athletic offensive minded players started becoming the norm - CVS philosophy did not change.
Ladies are battling but they are overmatched and they deserve better coaching.
I can't take too many more of these Tim coached games. At this rate, I won't make it through the season. And that will be a first, that I stop watching completely.
These women are very talented, they just need the right coach. Tim isn't it. They deserve better.
What the heck? His subs are insane!!! I honestly think Sakima is our best post player at this time. Tim saves her for the last few seconds of the first half and now the last 4 minutes of a 30 pt blowout. What the heck?!!!
