The Rutgers Off the Banks event for USC says it's capacity is full. Anyone know if there is another get together or tailgate for Rutgers fans. I guess I was late to the party, but will be at the game. Flying out Wednesday.

As a bonus, we may get a Yankees-Dodgers world series just before. The stadiums are only 6 miles apart.

I’ll be there with about 6 others. Got shut out of the RU tailgate so open to getting together with other RU fans as well.

Have been to the “Off the Banks” tailgates at VT and Nebraska so far. They are usually at a bar or brewery, and all they do is basically rope off a little area with food, and you get a drink ticket - but the venue isnt “full” so you should still go! You just wont get to get in line for the included food and wont get a drink ticket, but you will be still with all the Rutgers fans! The VT one had lots of VT fans also, it was fun to mess around with them doing chants and stuff.

May have missed it, but I don't recall any formal check in for the Va Tech tailgate, which was in an open tailgating area.
The Nebraska tailgate had a check in, as it was in the student union.
My understanding is the Rutgers tailgate is in an open lot, but I have not been provided information on the exact location.

I will be there with 3 other people. I signed up for the the bank's tailgate but also would be interested in tailgating earlier as well. If there is anyone in this thread who is interested in meeting up, shoot me an email at [email protected]

Can you post the location when you hear? We'll be out there too wandering around the stadium. We did register for Thursday's pep rally.

There was a check in for the social on Friday night at the brewery....we got 2 drink tix and excellent free food
There was a check in for the tailgate on Saturday, got 2 drink tickets and meh food

I'm attending a private (not RU) tailgate for USC. It's a Revel event, as I expect the RU event to be (because that's what it was at VT). The Revel area is the South Lawn literally outside the stadium

When you say "Check in", what do you mean? I have received nothing, and I don't think that @rutgersal has either.

well, for VT I got emails letting me know where the social was and where the tailgate was

then, when I arrived at each event I had to check in by giving my name that they checked against a list and then I got my drink tickets

I have received nothing thus far for the USC social ( I did not register for the tailgate but it is likely on the South Lawn as I posted above)

I never received the e-mail about the tailgate. Not in junk mail folder either. Thanks for posting the information.

can anyone go to the southlawn?

For the Rutgers tailgate you are supposed to be registered.

However, I went to the tailgate at Virginia Tech. Anybody could walk in and get food and non-alcoholic drinks. They do check the registration list to give out tickets for the alcoholic drinks. And usually they can't sell drinks to individuals at these tailgates
