How is Michigan St ranked ahead of RU in both polls when they have 3 conference losses? A worse overall record , worse RPI, worse strength of schedule, plus a loss to NW who RU beat. Crazy.

I'm just glad the team is in both polls and hoping RU will be moving up in each and every College top 25 WBB poll and stay in them all season long including after the 2018-19 season NCAA NC game

Perception rules the day as usual. How else do you explain the coaches poll? Most coaches do not have enough time to analyze all the top teams, so they vote based on the history of some of the teams, and the rest is about who's popular at the moment.

Which is how Tennessee with 3 straight SEC losses still stays in the poll.

Rick Neuheisel on Sirius said he doesn’t think any coaches do the actual voting, that some asst in the Coaches or AD office does it.
