Ronald Steele and Alabama

While watching the State at UGA game, did anyone else catch the commentators saying that Ronald Steele's decision not to play basketball for Alabama any longer not connected to his injury situation? Steele hasn't even been on the bench for Alabama the last two games. I know Gottfried's tenure has already been discussed, but this sounds like a sure death knell.
