Really got a kick out of him and his memorable roles. One of my buddies got me an R Lee Ermey doll back in the day and every so often I pull that out and let him rip off a few memorable insults.

If you've never seen "The Boys in Company C" it may be worth watching just to see his performance as the Drill Instructor. Actually similar to Full Metal Jacket.
