I saw KISS in concert (no makeup) with Vinnie Vincent, after Ace left the group. Loudest concert I've ever been to. Only concert where my ears were ringing afterwards.

RIP, Ace.

My first concert was the Motor City Madman. That **** was loud and I was in the balcony. Saw Van Halen. Same thing, but I was in row 6 or 7. Think I could see DLR's butthole in his assless chaps. Kept dreading the turnaround jump move. Saw KISS in the DES on their reunion tour. It was not close to as loud as the other 2. IIRC, those seats weren't the best either.

That had to be the Lick It Up tour. Vinnie only toured with them out of makeup for that one tour. Vinnie/Gene/Paul and Eric Carr, that was a really good band. I bet that was a great show. Who opened?

Saw The Mighty Van Halen in '84 and I'm with you. That was beyond loud. Great show though!

Yes, it was the Lick It Up tour.

Accept opened, of "Balls to the Wall" fame.
