Riley lost again?

It’s one of those “new adventures type deal.”
Words cannot express how happy I am that this simpleton is not guiding our program.
That's a little harsh, don't you think?
To paraphrase a once-popular theme, just imagine how lost Riley could get at a big-time program with first-rate facilities.
i can't believe anyone of any intelligence whatsoever thought he was going to compete with guys like Meyer.
I don't get the need to trash a decent man.
Some people just can’t help themselves. 4-8 gives them a license to say whatever they want.
How I picture Mike Riley on his first day
The man was in over his head but was proud to be at Nebraska and was classy. Wish some Husker fans would act their age. It’s 2018 move on.
This just in. Mike Riley is gone and trashing a good person (even a terrible coach) is pretty classless IMO. I do not see any of you stepping on the stage and being the center of attention.
Oh my gosh...some of you are so dorky. People are busting his balls, if you are a guy over the age of 7 and have guy friends, played a sport or coached a sport, you have had your balls busted or busted other people. Some of you need to get off your cross.
Maybe some folks want to express their opinion that differs from yours. Maybe some people are pretty pissed that he turned this program into a laughingstock. And when you accept big money to win in big time college football and you flop as magnificently and completely as he did, you have to expect some arrows.
Express an opinion all you want. You do not have to trash someone personally. That is not the same as expressing a poor opinion of his coaching prowess. Sorry you are not capable of understanding that! Neb fans do not have to be classless to express their disappointment in Riley's coaching ability!
Turning a program into one where people were struggling to give away tickets for the OSU game...one shiny example of why lack of performance trumps class. As soon as he gives back the money he ripped off from Nebraskans, I'll give him some slack.
A fraud by any other name is still a fraud. Look it up. Your point of view differs from others. That's your own business and that's fine, but is it your right to tell other people what to think? Your rights don't extend that far. We have a right to our points of view, also. It's pretty simple. Don't like, don't read it.
I am not an OSU fan so have no reason to go to their site. I do not get a kick out of pissing in others beer!
Huge difference from busting someones balls over a few beverages, I do that with buddies as well, zero problem. Trashing someone behind your computer is pretty lame lame and a cop out. I mean if you need to get your self esteem up so be it... "Through these gates pass the Greatest Fans in College Football." loses some luster when you have see garage posts daily. Pelini said F the school and the fans on the way out...MR said thanks for the opportunity and showed up at a b-ball game a day later. Just saying.
I don’t think it’s telling others what to think. People aren’t telling you what to think. What is being asked is that you keep the posts classy. If you choose not to that’s your right.
What that means though, if some people think your posts are classless, they have the right to call that out. It goes both ways.
So you are mad at people you don't know and have never met...making fun of a guy you don't and have never met?
It is funny that some here think they can express their points of view but those of us that find those thoughts should not be shared on this board should not express our opinions? Who is talking about double standards?

Some of these same people that think it's just HI-LARIOUS to make fun of Riley are the same ones who recoil in horror at people who dare to say anything bad about Pelini. For him, it's been "he's gone, let it go. move on" for the last 3 years, yet for Riley it's perfectly OK to make fun of him in every way possible. I wish someone would explain to me why saying anything bad about a man who trashed the fans while he was coach and the program on the way out and tried to interfere after he was gone is verboten, yet it's open season on someone who embraced the program and the fans and was classy on the way out. They both have one thing in common. They aren't here anymore and we are better off for it. Move on from both of them.
