Wife and I have season tickets to shows and I am admittedly low culture. My wife loves Broadway shows. So we went to Kinky Boots Saturday night. It was actually a very good show.

Golfing yesterday with my two usual partners which one would remind this board of robeert and the other of dvl in terms of political views, asked what i did Saturday night so I told them. They immediately went into a tirade about gays and more specifically transgender people. They both said the country has gotten so bad, they can't walk down the street and say "transvestite" without getting beat up. Wtf? Where are two people getting such nonsense? Why are right wingers so filled with hatred that they are willing to believe and repeat something like this? And we wonder why Trump and Cruz appeal to so many ignorant people?

How exactly did I get lumped into your crazy? I'm actually a strong advocate for gays and transgendered. I actually detest the religious right and the bigotry they cloak behind their religion. And now you are comparing me to a racist as well. You know, the guy who has openly stated that I was once engaged to a woman of the Jewish faith and openly dated black girls in high school in Southern WV. Not to mention my forays into the Asian sensations.

One thing I've learned about the Rush/Beck/Breitbart audience, is their tendency to bring up mudslung talking points when there's nothing else to talk about.
