“People said that Jalen Hurts couldn’t get it done, could not break from the pocket, that he’s not the quarterback of the future,” Griffin said. “I think he proved all those jigaboos wrong.”

Oh my.....curious to see what, if any, fallout this creates. Is it wrong that I'm still lol'ing though? (Rhetorical)

I honestly believe his explanation though....Griffin later tweeted that he meant to say “those Bug-A-Boos.”...and I hope he doesn't get the axe, and I hope we extend grave to the next person who says something like this.

You're fired, OP.

But ‘bug-a-boos’ doesn’t even fit in that context so it’s not a believable explanation. That said, I really couldn’t care less what he said. Bunch of boomer snowflakes out there😛

He apologized, which I hope suffices. I am tired of cancel culture.

To date, Aikman's comment about taking the dresses off the QB's has caught far more flak than RG III's comment. Interesting....and I'm tired of the cancel culture **** to, which is why I hope this is seen for what it was, an honest slip of the tongue No freaking way he was thinking that or would dare say it on purpose.

Sorry. I hate cancel culture too, but you know if a white person said this they would be gone in a second. So why the difference? Either fire all of them or none of them. I’m sick of this.

You are right, but somebody has to start being the bigger person. I find it impossible to extend to much grace....after you've spent all you have, ask for more to give, then when you run out, do it again. Can you imagine how wonderful it would be if people did that, somebody has to start.

Right idea. Wrong era.

It's really not any different from the fact that white people can't use the n word while black people can (the modified version with an "a" on the end - nobody can use the original version). It may be a double standard, but personally I get it and can accept it. RGIII using jiggaboo is a broadcasting mistake, a white person who uses that word sounds like a racist.

Don't tell about the ones you picked incorrectly....
I post plenty of those

just so happened the only 2 division futures I loved this year (KC (+150) & PHI (+170)) were very attractive and also look to be panning out

got murdered this past weekend, mostly courtesy of the jags pummeling the titans in TN

It used to be, personally I haven't heard it used for a long time.
I guess I don't know why he had to apologize for a term most people have never heard before and isn't even used anymore.

Who exactly was offended that a black person said jiggaboo?

A white broadcaster would be deemed a racist and most likely fired for using the word, so I think it's fair that a black broadcaster should at least admit using the word was inappropriate and apologize.

As to who was offended? I don't know, maybe nobody.

The term is used to describe broke *** means of transportation....at least today.

Just nonsense.

Slip of the tongue.

Like the Italians say when having oral sex, one slip of the tongue and you're in deep ****.
