Remember the Runts at Tenn.

1966... undefeated UK went to UT for the last game of the season and got hacked to pieces by a guy named Howard Bain. Of course he got away with murder and we lost. Seems to be the pattern of referee screw jobs from as far back as that.

I don’t personally because I wasn’t born until 74, but I’m sure a few here absolutely remember. One thing we Kentucky fans can’t forget is a bunch of cheating Refs. Lol. The real reason I’m posting is to tell you to leave the earth alone and quit messing with Superman and Batman!! Hehe.

Remember it well actually. Quite disappointing along with the latter loss to TW. Loved that team. Runts were as fun to watch as any team since then. They were special!

Was at that game. Was at Stokley. We were so screwed in that game. Truthfully though, college basketball is almost unwatchable now. The game I always remember with the Runts was when we were #1, Vandy #2 and we went to Nashville to play them. Little Louie had 41 that night. He hit from absolutely EVERYWHERE on the court. Thinking back on that night sort of reminded me of Prince hittlng 5-3s against NC in Rupp.

On that night I accidentally found the game on WHAS and listened to most of it. I became a UK fan that night and later attended UK and graduated in 1974. For 54 years I've been following the Cats and yes, that Rupp's Runts team was very fun to watch. I would say that the 2012 team is my second favorite team to watch
