The staff better find a way to protect CT, Whip needs to improve his play calling and being so easily predictable.

Team defense for the remaining schedule, not in order:
Purdue-27
Illinois- 3
Wiscy- 28
Minnesota- 2
Michigan- 6
Iowa- 7

This per the NCAA Stats: https://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs/current/team/22
At least Rutgers is also ranked #18. But yeah- we certainly need to step it up offensively.
It’ll be tough going the rest of the way considering our defense is still ranked #119.

We can’t look at the 1 pt Rutgers victory and think we’ve arrived. Gotta keep swingin like Mickey said.

Those stats are severely skewed by the beyond putrid offenses those teams have played thus far

people always tout the B1G as some defensive league and never mention the fact the best QB to come out of the conference in 20+ years is Kirk Cousins

It is so true...

And even the "good" offenses are slow and plodding.

It will be hard to erase the flaming results of the first 4 games... Even if the defenses pitches shut outs in the remaining games it will be hard to crack the top 75

There's a correlation between high defensive rankings and playing lesser teams with terrible offenses.
For example - good offenses light up that UW defense. Minn is feasting on really bad teams. Illinois same. Michigan same.

the only thing we can go on right now given the circumstances are the last 2 weeks. not saying we will even win another game but as of today the door's wide open. stats and rankings can be very deceiving given the big fat asterick attached to this year.
