Regional and SR Chairback Tickets

The order form and email we received said they would try to put you in the same seat but it could not be guaranteed. Anyone else worried that some season ticket holders for chair backs might get stuck with GA tickets due to having to give seats to visiting teams? The GA vs CB seat debate will ratchet up to new heights if some CB season ticket holders are stuck with GA for the regionals. My BDC rank should be high enough where I should be ok, but if you are outside the Top 5000 you could possibly be in trouble.

They had to do this in the old stadium as well and they already have designated tickets for visiting teams each weekend too. I guess they are saying that just in case the NCAA demands more than is normally allotted. I’m not worried.

I really doubt they will have to bump season ticket holders. Not all season ticket holders will be able to come to the regionals, and they can only reserve as many regional tickets as they have season tickets. That should leave room for visitor allotment, but not many chairbacks for non-season ticket holders.

So 600 Seats Between First and third will have to go to visiting teams. I highly doubt there are 600 CB season ticket holders that opt out on Regional Tickets. So unless I'm missing something there are going to be some season ticket chairbacks that are possibly going to visiting team. If that happens where do you put those season ticket buyers?

200 per team in the game they play in. So against state only 200 will be for visitors. When state isn't playing it'll be 400 but who cares because state isn't playing.

Ok that makes more sense. I would hope that the admin would find a way to take care of season ticket holders that paid a 10 year commitment to the facility by putting them somewhere with a RESERVED SEAT.

That is what section 115 is for...if you remember, all season, the tickets in section 115 were available on Tuesday morning each week for BDC members and if any were left, they were open to the general public. This situation is the exact reason that section 115 was not sold as season tickets... I bet the NCAA is saying they may have to come up with a few "good " seats for "special people" but the fans will be in 115.

During the regular season on seat geek there were “standing room only seats” and “SR” seats. What does SR mean? And where are they? I need to know because I want chairback seats for every game state plays in and need to know what section chairbacks are in? I looked at the seating Chart on seat geek and didn’t see a “SR” section, whatever that means. Thanks for the help!

If it’s a section with a three digit number, it’s a chairback.

So if my math is correct from looking at seating charts, there are certainly fewer than 250 tickets held for the visiting team. For the regional we have to come up with at least 400 because you only have to provide 200 for each team "in games they play." However, 600 are required for a Super Regional so I'd imagine we'd try to go ahead and block 600 off for the regional.
Also, given our stadium setup I'd hope they would be a little lenient on the "between 1st and 3rd base" portion. Either way I just don't see how at least 350 people are not about to get screwed.

This is incorrect. There were plenty of season tickets sold for section 115, but not 100% of them sold.

This weekend we had a good numbed of recruits and their families in the top 4-5 rows of section 217 (in front of the writers’ pressbox) so those don’t appear to be season tickets either

How is it not correct? These are the tickets that were sold throughout the season and the specific reason was to comply with NCAA a rules allowing a ticket allocation for visiting teams during a regional..so I guess we will see where the visitors tickets are next week won't we.....

I know season ticket holders in section 115. I was almost one of them.

Maybe this is a solution to the "no show" problem during regular season? You don't show fire regular people games and get you're tickets scanned, you don't get post season tickets?
