Regarding the Roundup controversy

had to renew my pesticide license this week and Glyphosate was a main topic...that's the chemical compound that the lawsuit (s) are about. Virginia Tech (hate to admit it) has a really good turf program and they did a study on the matter.....here are some things that will kill you as quick or quicker than Glyphosate........fireplace emissions, high temperature frying, working late shifts,alcohol,sunlight, and engine exhaust. A California (no further explanation needed) court looked at this list and picked out Glyphosate alone to let the lawsuit proceed. It's all about exposure folks. The man who sued was not following the proper safety and personal protective equipment procedures plain and simple. This is a real slippery slope, when you can ignore label directions and still be able to sue and maybe win. Also please know that there are variations of "roundup" that do not contain glyphosate so if you kill weeds in your lawn and are hesitant after hearing all this crap just read the ingredient list
