23 total fouls for Rutgers against 14 called on SHU. Enough said.

And the 14 included the 4 or so desperation fouls at end

So was really 23-10.

How can anyone watching that game not see the obvious difference in how the game was called.

They called touch fouls on us repeatedly (anticipating contact as someone said above) yet allowed shu defenders to bump our guys repeatedly.

It was absurd

Story of the game could have been Mag’s comeback, Cliff’s defense and foul shooting, Gavin in the 1st half, Noah in the 2nd half….

Sadly though the story of the game was the Officiating keeping SHU in the game.

We can’t tolerate this anymore.

The Seton Hall strategy was to drive to the basket with taller players. In contrast Rutgers lacks having guards with height which resulted in far more shots away from the basket not causing fouls to be called. The facts are that a foul could be called on every possession because of hand checking.Yes,the referees called too many fouls which gave Seton Hall the advantage at the foul line.

Though there were several plays where there was clear, hard contact made by Seton Hall players that should have absolutely been called a foul, but were let go. They definitely seemed to be getting a pass for things that we were getting called for.

The drive by Noah where he slowed up under the basket, created contact with the SH player, the dude hit him in the back and he laid it in. That should have been an and 1, another play where on defense JMike was just about shoved off the court from an obvious offensive foul by SH player using his off arm to create space (a call that was made against Hyatt on offense BTW for much less of a push with the off arm), and a few bumps against Noah as he dribbled and was knocked sideways or backward with no call. No idea why they’re not getting these calls, but seems to have happened a lot this year. Several times this year I have yelled at the TV wishing Pike would take a technical.

I lost count at 4 obvious offensive fouls by their guards; unreal.

Exactly it’s not only the number of fouls called and the no calls.
Love Pike but has to work Refs better.

One play towards the end traveled underneath and was in the lane for 6-7 seconds
The push off where Noah went back 5 feet from an offensive push off and I could go on and on
