I am trying to figure out what it is we are doing here at the end.
1. We have a large # of OVs currently on campus or on the way.
2. A few guys have left early (Lee, Gates) or are transferring out (Newell?..other?)
3. A few guys are transferring in (Dixon, Vedral....other?)
4. We have 15 commits and maybe 8? 9? 10? spots left?
OV list includes.............
.....another QB on top of Martinez and Vedral.
.....Two different RBs (Corbin, Jackson) than the one from the other day (Washington) who was himself different from the target last week (Henry)
So what is our strategy at this point? Are we oversigning and cutting dead weight later?(Probably)
Are we bringing in the best recruits available no matter the position? (appears so)
Do we even have an actual strategy?
From the outside it looks like CHAOS. The OV list has had adds and drops almost daily. Experts are making predictions for a kid to commit and then *poof* his name disappears from the OV list or he gets moved to a later date. I hope it is more organized that it looks, but I am leaning towards the chaos idea because of the simple fact that we have a completely turned over staff and most of them were coaching another school up until a few days ago. We literally might just trying to get whatever we can however we can at this point. The roster for next year might be unrecognizable compared to this year's.
Can anyone else make any sense of what we are doing?
