Recommendation For A Good Pre-Workout?

Anyone have any suggestions for a good pre-workout drink mix? I stopped by TRIAD Fitness by Quail Springs on my way to Stillwater last weekend and bought the KickIn brand, but after a week I don't notice anything from it. I told the owner I wanted a thermogenic mix that would also get me a bit jittery......I like that amped up sensation. He also gave me a sample of Rukkus, but it was about the same (although the taste was much better than KickIn). I'm looking for something that isn't going to break the bank but is a quality product! My workouts typically consist of 15-30 min of cardio and 30-60 min of weight training.

Also, what is the optimal amount of time before a workout to drink the pre-workout?

Have had good luck with Jack3d... may take 5 years off my life, but I drink that with a little water 20 minutes before working out and I'm ready to run through a wall.

Take one of these about 30 minutes before and you will have a nice burst of energy and have a very strong thermogenic effect for hours.

Herbalife Prepare.

It has everything you need to fuel your body for a workout in all the right portions. It'll give you a good pump without the itching, burning, and feeling like you're having a heart attack.

The whole 24 line is amazing.

I actually own an Herbalife nutrition store right now and have tried the Prepare before. It didn't do a thing for me. Neither has Plexus Boost/Edge for that matter.

I've used Jack3d as well. Seems to do alright. Recently began mixing Jack3d with Pre-Sculpt from myosculptnutrition.com and feel like it provides the necessary jolt for a good workout. Generally drink it about 30 minutes prior to workout.
