My wife and I recently celebrated our 42nd Wedding Anniversary. She and I celebrated on the day by going out to eat together just us. We went to a great restaurant on the beach in Oceanside. Here was our view .

We ordered a really good bottle of wine.

I ordered the Filet Trio and my wife ordered the Wagyu Meatloaf.

Yesterday our friends wanted to take us out to another great restaurant on San Diego Bay. This time my wife ordered the Filet Trio. My friend wanted to split the US Prime Tomahawk Ribeye platter. Since he was paying how could I refuse him.

His wife got a 2lb. Maine lobster and gave me one of the claws for Surf & Turf.

OMG! Both of these meals were SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!!

The first meal was less than $150. The second meal was paid for by him, so I don't know the exact amount, but it was upward of $600. He sold his business a few years ago so he's well off and can afford it.
