I just agreed to buy 5 lots (3acres total). I've only ever owned family property. So I'm wondering a few things.
I'm assuming after I officially buy the land, I will need to go to the courthouse and get the deeds changed to my name, correct? We didn't go through a real estate agent. So I'm new to all this. My head is spinning.
When I got my 1.2 acres from my parents I paid a lawyer fee of couple hundred dollars. But that was for one deed. I will have 5 deeds I assume. Will there still be one fee? Or a fee for each deed?
