So what you're saying is that nobody should discuss anything related to athletics decisions on this message board. I assume you want our teams to succeed, yet you don't seem to care about how that should happen. Everyone supports the teams and want them to succeed. It is not unreasonable to want to see effort even in defeat. The incremental improvement isn't being displayed in this regime. Eddie finally has mostly "his" players.
What you're suggesting is that people just not care about the awfulness that surrounds this program. What you're saying is that nothing should be done. You've even admitted that there isn't any effort being shown. You even said that we don't AND won't get the necessary athletes while we're losing. And yet you won't acknowledge that we've never been THIS bad. You say 5-7 years but don't seem to acknowledge that players only compete for 4 years.
So explain to me this. How do we get the players we need? How do we improve? Where is the bar supposed to be each year? Are we not supposed to want to see even the smallest sign of improvement? All I see is you getting sick of whining. That's understandable, but an acknowledgement of what everyone is observing is absolutely warranted right now. We've seen it with every past coach. The freshman play hard their first year. Effort should carry over, but it doesn't. Why is it that our only high effort players are freshman every year for every coach we've had the past two decades? Is it the coach? Seems likely to me.
