I really don't understand how we are #10 and a 3 seed and UNC is #8 and a 1 seed. Granted there are still a ton of games left and I'm confident it will all shake out correctly but match up the resumes, we've beaten similar teams only our big wins are on the road and theirs are at home. One game better in the conference is UNC but almost identical overall records. And we won the head to head. Don't quite get it.

I agree with what you're saying. I think some of what's hurting Duke is their slide earlier and the fact that really only 6 are consistently contributing. If one more bench guy, maybe 2, can give the team some quality time, then they will get more props. No one wants to say 6 can win it all

kenpom has us at 12 and UNC at 6, so maybe we should be happy with how the AP poll has things for now?

Hard to be too worried with rankings at this point. Our fate is in our hands. Four games left, all of which are against expected tournament teams. Then the ACC tournament. If we want to be above UNC come tournament time, we have a clear path to get there.

I really don't see how the number of guys you play determines any seeding or ranking. If you win you move up, if you lose you move down. Just my opinion.

Really just for the sake of arguing as we've all mentioned Duke still controls their own seed. Just a resume competition I think a big road win is more important that a bad home loss. UNC has done quite poor on the road this year.

I agree but Duke looks fragile because of depth. Personally I think the talent and depth is there. Just my opinion on how "experts" view Duke

I hear ya. We have an off night come tourney time and it's bye bye. I still see glimpses of greatness from Giles and bolden. It's just a few mins at a time though.
