I haven't seen a QB get his head torn off that badly since Eric Crouch played at Legendary Head Coach Bill Snyder and All His Kids and Grandkids Stadium.

Was a terrible no call. Loved seeing the Rams with Cooper, Puka, Stafford, and Williams. Vikes going the wrong way.

NFL refereeing continues to be abysmal

We challenge calls. How bout challenging no calls? Millions of people witnessed a crime, but no charges were pressed because the police officer didn’t actually witness it.

I think sometimes they THINK they see it but they are not sure so they wait...then they feel like they can't throw the flag "late" but you can...it is totally okay to throw it late.

With that said, **** the vikings but I did lose money on the game, so **** me too, I guess.

The cynic in me thinks Darnold is fools gold. He’s not championship material.

That is probably right.

Now, if he can lead them to 10-11 wins? He will get that new fat contract from some team, which is what I am sure he really is hoping for.

This is the drama of football that is fun to watch play out. do you hitch your wagon to a journeyman quarterback who gets hot one year and hope that he continues to rise, or do you cut bait and go with an unproven rookie coming off knee surgery? Thats risky. You would feel pressure to pay Darnold and hope that he keeps you above .500 (Cousins in ATL), because being the Jets or Panthers is much worse. But then you’re stuck with him (Browns/Watson) while stars like Jefferson get old and their window closes with nothing to show for it.

I think every coach who meets the minimum standard of the playoffs feels a big burden lifted at least temporarily. They feel better about the safe move, which buys them time. You know you have to get younger at the quarterback position, but the wrong move will cost you everything.

Does this game change the Rams from potential sellers to now feeling like they can win the west? I would have to think so.

I didn't see anything....lol

It was an illusion, black gloves, black face mask...lol

OFC I'm a Rams Fan so...but seriously, you never know but I don't think it would of mattered. Rams were getting more and more pressure in the second half, Vikings would of had to score and get the 2pt conversion. Had no timeouts left and 80 yds to go. I honestly don't see the all the sudden fascination with Darnold. I thought he was ok but same ol Sam Darnold once the Rams started to get a little pressure on him.

Agreed. Bad non call, but they were not gonna win that game. Darnold is not that guy, until proven otherwise.

I heard a stat that by some metric, maybe yards per play, the Rams offense is #1 in the league going back over a year with those four in the lineup.

Vikings predictably being much worse than their record indicates.

Bad no call, but they deserved to lose that game, and the sack easily could’ve happened without it.
