I just saw a Sportsbook put up odds on Maryland's seeding... The number is 2.5 and the over pays out +250 which I really like... But I wanted to see what you guys think first of of what it would take to knock them off of the two line? If they win the rest of their regular season games but lose a game in the B1G tournament do they still getthe 2 seed? What if they lose a tegureg season game and then win the B1G tournament?

I think they can still be a 2 without a Big 10 tourney championship....I think there is a possibility if that they can steal a 1 but its thread the needle

They do play two ranked teams and obviously us at the RAC to finish the season. What do you think happens if they lose one reg season game and don't win the B1G?

I’d think a lot of it would come down to the other teams in the 2-4 lines today and how they finish. Those Big East teams (SH, Creighton, and Nova) have a bunch of games against each other and a tourney, Louisville has to go to Virginia then the ACC, can Kentucky run the table, etc. It’s unlikely that Maryland falls below the 2 line, but I wouldn’t lay the -300 (or whatever it’s at) on it.

I think its possible that they can suffer a loss to RU, win the Big 10 title and lose in the semis or finals and still be a 2 seed. I think chances for 2 Big East schools to get 2s are slim. The question is can 2 ACC schools get 2s...most likely so its Dayton and Maryland....

@bac2therac ... Ok so now the odds are at 50/50. I Wish I fired on it the other day.... So now what do you think? IMO they would probably have to win the B1G tournament for a 2 seed. Do you agree?

they are borderline...Michigan State is actually a contender for a 2 if they win the Big 10 tourney. I think Maryland is playing their way to a 3 or maybe even 4, but still in the running for 2

I agree. I think if Maryland doesn't win B1G tournament they will fall to a 3 but we will see.
