Maryland passing
1st down 44-69 63.8% 468 yards. 5 TD
2nd Down 42-66 63.6% 456 yards 2 TD 2 INT
3rd down (1-9 yards) 17-40 42.5% 202 yards 1 TD
3rd down (10+yards) 11-15 73% 109 yards (3 of 15 converted to 1st down)

Looks like if you get them in a passing situation they struggle a bit in the passing game.

Well I'm gonna give our guys a little more credit than saying Michigan St. "Forgot to cover them". They didn't forget the corner jumped a route and Barney went the other way. Its being disingenuous to act as though that was just an unforced era. That was a player making a play. As far as the dropped KO it depends on whether it was done on purpose or not. I do agree though normally that's a catch u make. But you add 30+mph wind gusts and it isnt such a routine play.

As far as giving up 30+ it's definitely possible. I think they are more dynamic out wide and their QB is a dude. But if we can stop/slow down the run I actually think we have a good shot. 35-30 wouldn't surprise me but I also like our STs a ton. I think a ST play can decide the game. Big punt return maybe. Should be entertaining and imI'expecting a similar score to the Michigan game.. 30-27ish either way.

Jumping a route without topside help is a mental mistake, should have been a touchdown but Barney stumbled. I just think those mistakes are why MSU will be at the bottom of the big 10 and why we won. Blocked punts, dropped kos, and blown coverages are the trademarks of a bad team. I'm glad we aren't still making those mistakes, and I have to admit it shows progress that we have leveled up to just struggling passing game and not penalties and stupid mistakes. That is difference between making a bowl game and only winning 4 or 5.
