Elijah Hutchins-Everett a 4/5 from New Jersey recruited early by Rutgers has decommitted from PSU due to the coaching change. The former Montclair Immaculate player who is now reclassified into 2021 is spending this year in the NEPSAC at Putnam in Connecticut. Marquette and Texas A and M, neither of which were on his early list, have already offered. It is not known whether either Rutgers, SHU or any of the other early s hooks have reached out. He has moved from a 3 to a 4 this past year and has added an outside jumper to include in his offensive package. If he goes with one of the early schools, this could be over very quickly but most likely he will sign In April.

I wasn't sure if anyone here had mentioned it about PSU losing all 2 commits for 2021. I'm glad you wrote this up. With Chambers out, all 3 2021 commits have now decommitted from their program.

Couldn't happen to a nicer team.

🤣🤣🤣

And now back to you @RurgersRaRa
@MrsScrew I kinda like the way you spelled my screen name, it has a certain Scoopy Doo feel to it....

P.S. I just two cutouts for men's bball--one of me, and one of James Gandolfini in a Rutgers shirt. I hope they put them both behind the bench. :)

They forced Chambers to resign over a single comment?... he seemed like a good dude... guess the recruits agreed.

I'd guess he would have been canceled with the choice of getting the monkey off his back as well. Crazy world.

Apparently not. From Blue & White Illustrated...

The allegation that led to Chambers' resignation was previously unknown to Penn State and was not related to a recent story published in ESPN's The Undefeated, which contained allegations that Chambers had referenced a noose when speaking to former player Rasir Bolton.

Hmmm... so it was super-secret double probation that he must have violated in some way according to the AD.

And his team was obviously behind him.. pretty strange.

There were rumors of NCAA recruiting violations but their AD denied that.

Suffice it to say but their investigation turned up something that PSU determined was unacceptable and he's out.

PSU won't specify and is using the "personnel" matter to deflect questions about his departure.

Since its PSU basketball and not football I don't expect any intrepid reporters to investigate his departure.

So Penn State now has as many 2021 commits as they do wins on the football field this season.
