Shack predicted before the season started that we d be dancin. Kudos to Shack!
I brought back the official season prediction page to the front page for exactly this reason
Seriously, I reallt thought we were ready for the step up for a couple of reasons
1.) i really thoght we were better than our 14-17 record last year. The metrics showed it ...and our record was knocked down a bit by a bad start and bad finish...youth. If you thought of us as a 17-14 team last year held back by youth (which I did)...the leap
To 20-11 wasn’t so far fetched
2.) I thought this team would really be better without Eugene. No knock on him...but I thought his minutes to others would force them to step up and we would be collectively better for it
3.) we had the off season that we needed to turn frosh/sophomore into soph/juniors ...
My Truth be told...we are playing BETTER than I thought we would be. Didn’t think the big ten would be this tough. In a lot of years...this years 20-11 would be 22-9/23-8.
Truly think we have a ncaa win or two in us...depends on match ups and staying healthy

I predicted 10-1 OOC and 10-10 in league, but we ended up 9-2 OOC and 11-9 in league.
Either way, we’re 20-11 baby!!!!
