I don't think it's particularly acceptable to mock the players on our team like this. These aren't professional players, they are college players.

I hope something is done about the rampant abuse of players by the likes of posters like bac & t2k.

I agree, these two are over the top with their comments. While, I understand many of us are not happy with the product on the court, these kids are trying their best. I'm appalled at some of the comments I have seen directed at Goode, Daniels, Lewis and Foreman.

I was actually mocking your post moreso than Goode. Goode isn't a Big 10 talent, if you are so meek to not handle that well I cant help you. Are you saying Eddie feels Goode is more talented than Parker? Yet you continue to post outlandish stuff like Parker left because Eddie is getting someone better or he needs 10 years here. Who is dealing with reality. I think the bashing of the players has actually been pretty minimal. The reality is half of the team are not Big 10 level players.

Eddie isn't going to turn this around in 10 years, 15 years or 20 years. I don't blame the players- they are all trying their best. I blame the Administration (for 25 years of complete futility) and Jordan for just being a terrible coach. I believe that even if Eddie had a top 10 class- we wouldn't be much better than we are today! The guy cannot coach college.

You think the bashing of players is minimal because you are the one perpetuating the bashing. You should have more respect for the players than that.

While the comment about Goode was a bit over the line, the idea that EJ let Parker go because he was in search of bigger fish is pure fantasy land - more a scarlet blindfold than scarlet colored glasses.

It'd be like saying EJ is playing the rope-a-dope this season so that we'll surprise the Big Ten and win the conference next season. It's entirely divorced from anything approaching reality.
