Our already weak depth at OT has taken a beating this year. We can say “next man up” all we want, but the depth chart is there for a reason. Every injury hurts this teams chance of winning. It’s truly maddening. We have two starters playing with casts, down to playing guards at tackle and lost our qb. Brutal breaks this year

On the positive side, Corc and Knaack didn’t completely embarrass themselves most of the time

You build a team knowing that the 2 deep is going to be tested. Coaches certainly know that they get a "free pass" when some players get hurt, like the qb, but not others..like the oline. The reality is you need 10 good offensive lineman to make it through a season, we don't even have 2 or 3 good ones...so can't really make an excuse. Kind of sucks but we were lucky the first 8 games with injuries, it was bound to happen.

That’s some scary stuff right there. Lutovsky is an OT like I’m a smokin hot chick magnet at the age of 67. 🥴
In the summer when the medical status of Gottula, Corc and Teddy was still up in the air, Henry was being mentioned at RT. Of the three interior starting linemen, he is by far the best fit.

Hoping Brix is getting some first team reps in practice at tackle. Recruiting analyst were talking him up during his recruitment and at HS all American bowl. Let’s see what he can do?!

It is what it is right now, we're a beat up team that's going to have to do the best it can, fans that belittle the team are of little use to the program. There is no use in feeling sorry for yourself because the opponents sure won't. I don't know how many on this board have ever played competitive sports but those of us who have know when you're team has been hit with the injury bug you circle the wagon and push hard. jmo

I knew you were Bill Belichek. I just knew it. Teach us your ways. A wise man once said “I love college chicks! The older I get, they always stay the same age.”

He will this week. He’s been playing all year on at least the extra point and field goal units.

I've been avoiding this place like the plague, but I'm sure it's been pointed out that the season-ending sack was mostly Dylan's fault? He just holds the ball forever. On that play he actually stepped up to avoid pressure... and then held it some more. I appreciate his willingness to stand in the pocket but he actually had okay-ish protection on that play. I don't even remember what down it was, but we were well within fg range. Throw the ball away if everyone is covered.

Here's some good news, Raiola is going to heal up for next year and his back up will be an experienced back up. I look forward win or lose to see Lateef progress over the next three games. Yes he's going to take his lumps but I also expect he will also show some sparks of excitement that will give us fans some hope in the future.

3 knee surgeries myself already (still in my 30s) and just had a big shoulder surgery last December. I don’t envy you. If you get it done, I hope the recovery and rehab go smoothly for you.
49 years after my first shoulder separation I finally had to have my rotator cuff repaired. My shoulder was popping out if I reached for something at the wrong angle. Had my left hip replaced at 50. The first orthopod refused to replace my hip unless I let him fuse my lower back first. That was 17 years ago and I still haven’t had the back done….but now I’m thinking about it. I can only imagine some of the surgeries Husker football players are going to have some day.

Was not a good play call regardless. Calling a long developing play, they do that crap all the time around that area of the field. I bet Dana didn't learn his lesson either. So yes I blame DR too, I'm more pissed about the piss-poor coaching

Does being a prich come naturally to you or do you have to work at it? Asking for a friend.
The only b*tch in this discussion is the guy who takes offense when reading 100% factual observations

I know you had 4 whole margaritas during the game and have no clue what you’re watching at your soberist, but he was getting manhandled all night.

our OL sucks out loud and it’s entirely a product of our unqualified nepotism hire running that room

wrong side again, dingle. You should be used to it by now.

Calling someone a “Jane” and soft after their knee has been rolled up like a pretzel is what people with small dicks do to try compensate for their shortcomings.
