You're not going to find a player in the country with a better nose for the basketball than Pierce. Maybe a few as good... but no one better.

They're a really good team. Bit of a joke they are gonna be a Q3 loss most likely, that is a top 100 team in the country for sure. Hopefully in the grand scheme of things it won't be seen as a bad loss.
On paper, it will probably be a Q3 loss, but anyone who watches Princeton play will agree that they pass the eye test.

This is the biggest flaw in the Q3 system. Not all Q3 losses are the same and not all Q1 wins are the same. But at times, it sure looks like the committee treats them that way.

Ohio State loses to Texas A&M and Wisconsin falls to Tennessee. Both games were at home for the Big 10. Not a good non conference start
Maryland lost at home to Davidson. Penn State struggled with Lehigh. Seems like we're off to a collective slow start

With Princeton's style of play they can perform at a high level regardless where the game is played. The execution of basic fundamentals is outstanding which puts them at a performance level equal to opponents that have presumed better talent.Bottom line going back to the Bill Bradley and the Pete Carrill years Princeton always has been a tough opponent.

Yale lost to Gonzaga by 15. Princeton needs Rutgers and Yale to have a strong net ranking if they have any hope of getting into the net double digits.

Our Princeton loss was not a bad one. If we played this game in January the score may have been reversed. We aren’t ready at this point but I do trust Pikiell and his ability to improve his team. Injuries killed our team last season and some of that has carried over into this one.
