We played Indiana at the RAC on Dec 31 suffering a 66-56 loss.
Indiana shot 20 of 47 including 5 of 12 from 3.
Rutgers shot 21 of 62 and a dismal 1 of 15 from 3.
We had so many more shots because of 16 O rebounds, plus had 23 D rebounds.
Hoosiers had 8 O and 25 D rebounds.
Unlike Rutgers the Hoosiers rely on balanced scoring and on New Years eve
they had players with 14, 13, 11, 10, 9, and 8 points.,
They got to the free throw line 28 times making 21.
Rutgers had half as many free throw attempts making 13 of 14.
Rutgers three point attempts had KK 0 for 6, T Mack 1 for 6, Morris, Zippy and
Maddox all 0 for 1, and Arella not having any tries.
RU had 16 turnovers while IU had 15.
Indiana shot 60% in the third quarter to take control.

Rutgers needs to play better.
They do that and Indiana is in trouble.
RU's D must make the Hoosiers work for every point while Rutgers, on offense, must
make more players than just Arella a major worry for the Indiana D along with Wallace making noise on the boards and keeping the Hoosier bigs from grabbing rebounds.

the issue is the varying degrees of intensity...at times this team plays with its hair on fire and others times with no urgency. I believe the last game they came back but then Indiana just turned things back on again. I worry about the defense of the 3 ball as usual.
