Predict where Iowa is ranked

Plenty of opportunity coming up to prove that out.
I will say, though, up to this point, we have played the fewest number of Q1 games of any P5 team in the Top 20 of the Net.
But again, the schedule is backloaded and the ranking will take care of themselves if we can manage to win a couple of those Q1 games coming up.

All that matters is where the Hawkeyes end up the regular season and how far they go in the NCAA. As always, the NCAA tourney is mostly about matchups. If Iowa, for once, gets some reasonable matchups, Ben and his boys will make the Sweet Sixteen for the first time since 1999. Think about that . . . And if they do, nobody will care what the sad excuses for "experts" thought on Feb. 9.
BTW: Iowa is #18 in KenPom and #20 in the net. That seems pretty accurate to me. And I also believe the Hawkeyes have a great shot at a #5 seed and, perhaps, even a #4. They have several great opportunities coming up the rest of the way. Holding home court would, in itself, give them a huge boost.

RANKINGS mean very little. In the end, only one ranking has meaning: #1...nobody remembers who was runner up most of the time.

Rankings aren't as important as other models for the selection committee. Still, I'm frustrated Iowa continues to lose votes every week despite winning.
