I say 6 behind lousville KU Maryland UNC an VA. But because Duke and MSU lost we might drop because they will keep them ahead of us.

They will fall to 4, maybe 5 at the worst. They caught SFA to a toes during regulation, after all. Just ran out of energy in OT. You can’t hold that against them.

Puke will drop to #2 launching a one hour special broadcast on ESPN hosted by Jay Bilas on how SFA cheated. After further review the NCAA will give SFA the death penalty and reinstate Puke back to #1.

Honestly, their home advantage is so much greater then ours with their fans right there on the sidelines yelling they should fall further then us, but unfortunately I would be shocked if they dropped past 6th. I mean we had beaten #1 on a neutral court a week before our loss and we dropped 8 spots, but it's Dook. The media won't even go in on them. It will be wow, big upset, oh well it's Thanksgiving lets stop talking about this.

We fell from 1 to 9 with a similar at home loss. I say duke remains in the top 5 after theirs. What do you think?
It will certainly be interesting indeed. But I bet you're right, they won't drop duke outside the top 5. That's pretty ridiculous.

What will the justification be that they remain ranked ahead of UK? UK has a similar loss but a win over a #1 ranked team. Therefore, there should be no reason that Duke would be ranked ahead of UK. But we all know what’s coming.

ESPN showing notable big upsets just showed 4 examples. One was Gardner Webb over UK and the other Evansville over UK LOL. Bilas asked what he thought about the lumberjacks victory and he said it's like UK losing to Evansville. I think the media might not be as hard on them LOL. All they keep saying is UK losing to Evansville. When we lost I didn't hear anything about Lehigh or Mercer. Let them enjoy their own embarrassing loss. They deserve it.

I'm guessing 6th. And the media's reasoning will be they went into OT with their mid major. just watch.

Duke does have one advantage in the fact they get to play another game before the polls come out. Should they beat Winthrop soundly then I’m guessing about 5 or 6. Win a tighter game than most think it will be then to 7 or 8. Lose again then to about 12 and the only way they fall below UK.

Most everything I have read and watched had to compare it to our loss. Just can't let Dukes loss stand alone they gotta drag us into it.

I will be pleasantly surprised if Duke does not fall below #5. I wouldn't be surprised if the voters say this was a fluke and keep them #1. Stranger things have happened.

I just now told the wife that I'm gonna give her some context and perspective on the duke/ACC bias come Monday, when the next poll is released. I guarantee they won't fall to 9, like the Cats did. I would just about bet they'll STILL be ranked higher than UK.

Goodman tweeted out his updated top 25. Has Duke at 13, UK at 17.

I think after our loss he dropped us to 19th and after 3 wins in a row has only brought us up 2 spots. He drops them to 13th, eventhough they were favored by more, and you can guarantee after a couple of wins he will have them back in the top 5.

Duke will only drop 2 to 3 spots in the next poll after they blow out their next opponent. ESPN will say that Duke and Coach K have corrected their issues and are back to being the most dominant team in the past decade.

The big test will be how far of a bump will SFA get in the polls as opposed to Evansville. I'm sure SFA will get ranked a whole lot higher than Evansville to try to make the loss not so bad.

We will also experience the bias when they seed us for the NCA tourney. The Evansville loss will somehow be used against us even though we had two starters out but they won't even bring up the SFA loss that Duke experienced.
