During the warm-ups prior to the Seton Hall game I keyed on Corey and watched him take a ton of shots from the 3 point range at the side of the basket and I'd say he made about 80% of them. Interestingly, while I saw Foreman miss two out of two from there during the game, Corey did not take any. Thought back to the Wake Forest game - Corey inbounds, pass it right back to him in the corner, 80% chance he makes it.

If most of us on the internet could replicate what we could do during warmups on the court we'd be playing D1 basketball.

This is true. Every year I see soon to be NBA draftees working out in my gym. I am amazed how accurate these guys are when they are training.
Then I see them in games and it is a completely different story.
My rough estimate is that players will making about twice as high a percentage in practice/warmups as they will in a game situation. So a 40% shooter in a game makes about 80% in practice. 45% shooters make about 90% in practice.

it's interesting, because he looked better driving to the basket a few times this year....I'm not sure about tonight because I have not watched the game. Looks like a confidence problem that is typical with some freshmen. He has turned down some wide open shots. He needs to take them.
There is a reason he isn't getting looks when others in the offense are. If you make hard cuts you can get the ball a 1/2 second earlier. If he isn't going to work hard offensively off the ball he wont succeed.
I think it was Sanders two possessions in a row cut down the lane and passed to a wide open Goode in the corner, on the first one he actually hit the side of the backboard and the second one was not even close either. I feel for the kid but he brings nothing to the table if he can't even hit wide open 3's becasue he cannot create his own shot.
